Goat Shearing

Today, we sheared the goats. Or, I should say, a very kind gentleman sheared the goats, I just moved them from place to place and picked up mohair. The kids helped, until Matthew and Cora got a bit scared and had to move out of the pen. Anna took pictures and video. Once all that mohair was cut off, you wouldn't even recognize them as being the same goats!
My billy looks much smaller, not nearly so pretty, and just not very impressive when he's buck naked.
Gypsy, my purebred angora doe, looks like a stick who swallowed a basketball after losing all of that hair. The next picture shows her being sheared- notice the beautiful curly locks?

Two more pictures of Gypsy. A side view, that shows just how wrinkly she is under all of that mohair- she and Curly, the other purebred angora, had a garbage bag full of mohair together.
