Anna took Charlie on two long walks today. As we left the barnyard after the second walk, she asked, "Tomorrow, can I visit Charlie three times?"

Anna got a miniature horse for Christmas. She had said several weeks ago that if Santa did bring a horse, it would be brown and white spotted, and if it was a girl, she would name it Cocoa, and if it was a boy, she would name it Charlie. We'd like to introduce you to Charlie.

The one thing I was thankful about with the ice storm was that for the most part, I was able to focus on how beautiful it made everything, rather than on how inconvenient it was to be without electricity. Hence, the 400+ pictures.

This is Brad's fence. If you look closely, you can see that the string of icicles melted a bit and then froze again, hanging down below the barbed wire.

Fitting street sign near our house. The next three, I actually took in Iowa Friday morning, when Cora had to stop on a gravel road for a potty break. It seemed like a good photo opportunity.
