Renaissance Festival

Way back when, we went to the Renaissance Festival in Kansas City, but I never got the pictures posted. So, without further ado. . .

After watching the jousting show twice, Matthew had to meet the blue knight. He walked right up to him, and said "You're a pretty good fighter."


Cora is hidden in between Anna and I, however, we did all three ride the elephant.

We had a great time, and look forward to going again next year, when the kids may actually dress up in Renaissance garb.

Fall Leaves

At the Bloomfield-Garden Grove picnic, the kids scooped up a big pile of leaves to jump in, and throw at each other. I had to use it as a photo op first, though.

Combine Ride

On Saturday, we went and rode in the combine and tractor with Mosers. Anna, Matthew, and I were in the combine with Clint, while Willa Corrinne rode with Grandma Willa in the tractor driven by Andrea.

Jack O' Lanterns

Since I refused to let Anna attend the K-3 "dance" at school last week, we went to the pumpkin patch, made jack o'lanterns, and had a weiner roast instead.
